Suave gangster Lowe is apprehended for a robbery, but he is offered a choice of either going to prison or to war to fight for his country. He opts for the military and becomes a hero. Upon returning, Lowe resumes his criminal career which bogs down when he falls in love with Owen, a high society lady.
