Trevor is an LA cop going undercover to expose a Mexican dope ring. Disguised as a chorus girl she meets the gang chief, but a rival gang breaks in and carts off the drugs, along with Trevor. MacMurray is one of the rival gangsters, but, unknown to Trevor, he is really another undercover
agent. The two fall for each other and make a run for the border, each reluctant to turn in the other. An exciting climax reveals their identities, and a shootout and fist fight subdue the gangsters, suave Raymond Burr among them. The script is occasionally confusing, and director Seiter seems
unsure whether to treat the material as comedy or drama.
