One Body Too Many

An amusing comedy-mystery starring Haley as an insurance salesman sent to guard the body of a recently deceased millionaire until the reading of his will. During his stay the corpse disappears, and two other murders occur. Well-paced comedic thriller keeps up suspense, with Lugosi adding extra chills as the servant, although his appearance here is strictly a red herring. Scriptwriter Miller, who was serving with the Marines in the South Pacific at the time, wrote the story in between his military chores.
