Not the pod people, but the first and best of three creepy collaborations between Boris Karloff and proudcer Val Lewton. Karloff plays a menacing cabbie in 19th century Edinburgh who moonlights as a grave robber for doctor Henry Daniell. When Karloff starts delivering still-warm corpses, Daniell starts to wonder.
