Ray Charles plays himself, helping a recently blinded English boy adjust in this sentimental tale. Worthwhile for extensive footage of Charles in performance. And, yes, the director-cowriter is Paul Henreid, the actor (Victor Lazlo in CASABLANCA, 1942, among many other fine films).
