The Bowery Boys are up to some new tricks this time. Huntz Hall has his tonsils taken out and wakes up to learn that he has a golden throat (looped offstage by John Lorenz). Naturally, Leo Gorcey sees this as a way to make a million bucks so they remake the local candy store, owned by Bernard Gorcey, into a nightclub. It's an overnight success as the word gets out about Huntz's fabulous pipes. Stevens owns a neighborhood nightclub that is suffering because of Hall's popularity. He sics comely Adele Jergens after Huntz, and the young lad's head is turned. He joins her at Stevens' place. Coates, Hall's onetime flame, tricks Adele into spilling the beans about Stevens...
