Blowback

Police detective Don Morrell (Mario Van Peebles) is too distraught over his partner's brutal death to bring the murderer to justice. Although John Matthew Whitman (James Remar) fries for his crimes, Morrell can feel his presence everywhere. And with good reason: An FBI splinter group has surreptitiously revived Whitman and reconditioned him into an assassin. The first hit he's assigned is a US Senator, but Whitman has another agenda in mind: eliminating the judge and jurors who convicted him.
