Directed with flair by Piers Haggard (grandson of H. Rider Haggard, the author of King Solomon's Mines), this tale of witchcraft is quite effective. Set in 17th-century England, it's about a young girl (Linda Hayden) who discovers a disembodied claw of Satan and organizes a cult of teenagers to resurrect the Prince of Darkness.
