Blood Relatives: Review

The story takes place in Canada, where Sutherland is an inspector investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl whom he suspects died at the hand of a maniac. Pleasence's presence in the film predisposes viewers to expect another HALLOWEEN or one of those other Pleasence monstrosities. Chabrol fools us, though, as he casts Pleasence in the role of a deviate who likes nymphets. The plot is meandering but never dull. Chabrol is not so scary as usual. leave a comment
