Cry Blood, Apache

Hidden underneath its exploitative facade is an intriguing little western starring Jody McCrea and his dad, Joel. Told in flashback, Joel reminisces about his days as a young Indian killer, played by Jody. He tells the story of a massacre in which all but one of the Indians were killed. Gahva, the survivor, is spared after striking a deal with McCrea to lead the gang to a gold mine. Her avenging brother, however, begins killing them off one by one. In a final showdown, Gahva kills her own flesh and blood in the defense of the man who saved her life. Starrett costars as one of the outlaws.
