An early entry in the BLONDIE series with all the standard plot elements: Mr. Dithers harasses Dagwood, Baby Dumpling harasses Blondie, and the dogcatcher harasses Daisy. A salesman convinces Blondie (Singleton) that her son is a juvenile genius, so he's enrolled in a school from which he promptly disappears. Daisy is recovered, Baby is recovered, and the Bumsteads fade out into happy chaos until the next installment. Only average, though Henry Freulich's camerawork is particularly nice. leave a comment
