Brilliant but mentally disturbed scientist Rey is hidden away in a southern swampland by Army general Warden, fearing that the current mental state of Rey could jeopardize national security. Warden enlists the aid of prominent New York psychologist Hudson, who is flown to an airport, blindfolded, and taken to Rey every night in an effort to ease the strain on the scientist's mind. When an international group of spies tries to kidnap Rey, hoping to sell his secrets to the highest bidder, Hudson must blindfold himself and feel his way to the swampy hideout in a last-ditch effort to save the crazed genius. Tongue-in-cheek espionage film that contains more than its share of preposterous scenes of derring-do. The cast members do not take their roles very seriously, especially Hudson, and Cardinale isn't exactly around to capture the intellectual audience. leave a comment
