Blind scientist Sydney's sight is restored during an experiment while he labors to create an invisibility ray. He does not tell his philandering wife, Stamp-Taylor, that his sight has been restored, hoping thereby to catch her in the act with rival scientist Colin. Sydney tells the truth to trustworthy assistant Mason, however, and the two of them foil Colin's plot to steal the invisibility formula and also force a quick elopement on Colin and Stamp-Taylor. The mundane mixture of mad-scientist elements and marital-infidelity story line gets some spark from its principal players, including a very young and charming James Mason. leave a comment
