Medieval melodrama which is the second live-action feature film directed by famed Polish animator Walerian Borowcyzk. The young and innocent Brancie is married to old nobleman Simon. Simon's son, Trimble, is in love with his young stepmother but keeps it to himself until a king, Wilson, and his wily page, Perrin, arrive.
