Blame It On The Night

Tiresome story of rock-'n'-roller Mancuso, forced to take Thames, the son he's never seen, on the road with him when the boy's mother dies. The boy, the product of a long-ago one night stand, has been in a military academy, so the sudden immersion in the world of groupies and the wild life is something of a jolt. Gradually--and predictably--father and son grow on each other. Based on a story cooked up between producer-director Taft and Rolling Stones vocalist Jagger, the movie is little more than a string of maudlin cliches unimaginatively carried off.
