With its absurd, psychology-baiting plot and amateur-night-in-Dixie performances, this soft-core thriller resorts to maximum skin exposure even when the script doesn't call for it. Unbalanced Suzanne Oliver (Shauna O'Brien), who works for an escort service, is nursing a 15 year-old grudge against Debra Gray (Landon Hall); Debra rebuffed the lesbian advances of Suzanne's sister, who then committed suicide. Suzanne has devised a complicated plan to avenge her sister's death; first she's going to murder one of her customers and plant evidence that implicates Debra, then she's going to blindfold Debra's husband in a hot tub and have sex with him. The police clear Debra, and Suzanne serves a year in jail before being remanded to the custody of devilishly goateed shrink Dr. James Sterling (Robert Donovan). Sterling's New Age belief that criminals should confront their victims leads Sterling to show up on Debra's doorstep with Suzanne in his car. Not only must Debra tolerate Sterling's attempts to get her into therapy, but she also learns her half-brother David (Christopher Graver) is writing a tell-all book about her. Sterling later abducts Suzanne as part of a plan to kill Debra and blame it on his pesky patient. Why, you ask? Because he's tired of manipulative murderers using his psycho-babble to get lighter sentences! This edifying, sex-filled romp filled with words to live by (none of which we can mention), is assured a place in the annals of camp. leave a comment --Robert Pardi
