This made-for-TV science-fiction thriller doesn't overextend its premise or vitiate tension with repetitive scare tactics. Unfulfilled in Tinseltown, novelist/screenwriter Bo Aikens (Jay Mohr) considers settling down in an industrial park community called Black River.
