Black Patch

Gordon wrote and costarred in this attempt at a psychological western. It was not one of Gordon's best efforts as a writer, although his acting ability is always on the money. Montgomery wears the black patch to cover an eye he lost in the Civil War. Gordon and his wife Brewster come to the town where Montgomery, an old pal, is the marshal. Gordon is now a bank robber, so George tosses him in the clink. Cabot and Peters, two ne'er-do-wells of the village, agree to get Gordon out of jail for half his loot.
