An often overlooked and criminally underrated comedy about a black middle-class family living in the Watts section of LA. Clarice Taylor is a wife and mother who becomes fed up with her husband's (Leonard Jackson) tyrannical rule. Just before her daughter's wedding, she gets an Afro and hands hubby a list of demands.
