In his first starring role after 46 appearances in the movies, Quinn plays a kindly Indian who one day finds an orphaned Chinese boy, Louie, and his horse. Quinn and his wife adopt the boy and mate his horse with their mare. Quinn falls in with an unscrupulous horse manager, Olsen, who talks him into entering the mare in a race.
