The second Charlie Chan mystery featuring Oland as the Chinese detective. This one, shot on location in Hawaii, has Oland investigating the murder of a movie starlet who herself has murdered her director. The suspects are the dead girl's fortune teller, Lugosi, her maid, her ex-husband, and her butler.
