The Bishop Misbehaves

1933, Movie, NR, 85 mins

starstarstarstar
The daughter of an inventor seeks out the man who has stolen one of Pop's inventions. When a bishop changes his career momentarily to a private detective, the patent papers are secured and all is well. Hysterical and, above all, well-timed comedy with acting and production balanced. This was Edmund Gwenn's first Hollywood film. He would become one of the industry's finest character actors. leave a comment
