Hickman is a Georgia backwoods boy who discovers a dog left to survive in the wilderness. The animal stakes out a territory and protects it, frightening the boy and his friends many times before they all become pals. Then Promise, the dog, wins top honors for them as a field tracking dog. Highly emotional production with location shots indicative of close attention to detail. leave a comment
