Joseph E. Levine imported BIMBO THE GREAT from Germany and should have left it there. A very predictable circus story with all the usual plot points: a fire, several circus acts, a murder. There is nothing turkey-like about the movie; it's an honest attempt handled somewhat saggingly. The
actors do what they can with the tired script.
