The first western shot in Israel (as opposed to cheap runaway productions in Spain or Italy) stars Peck as a grizzled old Scottish bandit who teams up with a young half-breed, Arnaz, to pull a robbery. Things go badly--the two accidentally kill a citizen, and the haul only nets them $420. Arnaz is captured, and Peck rescues him only to be severely wounded by a gunshot to his leg.
