This hard-hitting film begins when Meeker kidnaps a young boy and takes him deep into Colorado's Royal George Park, where the boy attempts to escape and is accidentally killed in a fall. Meeker still collects $200,000 in ransom money, but he is captured after hiding the loot and is sent to prison. There he meets tough cons Crawford, Talman, Chaney, Bronson, and others who plan and execute a successful escape, taking Meeker back to the site of the kidnaping to collect his loot.
