Mossberg, a pretty hippie, is attracted to medical student Chakiris, who sells LSD to beach bums. Mossberg's father refuses to allow his daughter to marry Chakiris, who is really just after her money. When Dad dies, Mossberg's newlywed mother, Turner, prevents her stepdaughter from collecting her inheritance.
