Musical THREE GODFATHERS tale starring O'Brien as a lonely waif who is adopted by three young men of different faiths. Thomas is a Jewish cantor, Murphy is an Irish cop, and Preston is a Protestant minister. Everything goes well until Murphy decides to get married and wants O'Brien to be part of his family. There is bad blood between the friends until kindly judge Arnold and little tyke O'Brien work out a solution acceptable to all. Good production values, charming musical numbers, and standout performances by the principals keep this somewhat hokey material from being too maudlin. leave a comment
