This time it's Dale Evans, playing an author of western novels, who outwits the bad guys. When Roy and Dale find themselves in a tight spot, a chapter from her current book bails them out of the mess. The first of the "violent" Rogers films in which people who got punched suffered bloody
noses, this was also the first Rogers film in which Devine appeared. Roy sings "A Cowboy's Dream of Heaven," and Dale warbles "I Love the West." The right stuff.
