Raymond, son of a wealthy family, decides to teach his folks a lesson after they won't let him marry a pretty stenographer, so he goes West and brings back Sidney, the daughter of an Indian chief. In this offbeat movie, racial hate is explored on a prosaic level and is confused when Compton
shoots her extramarital lover and Sidney is blamed for it. Raymond goes to the police and confesses the killing, but detectives put them in a room together, turn on a hidden microphone, and learn that both are innocent; they are released to resume their marriage. Strong cast and a good performance
by Ann Sheridan can't help this one.
