Inanely scripted story has Arlen in love with Eilers, and she with him, but Eilers is married to fairgrounds owner and cheat, Armstrong. A bizarre climax has the two lovers making a show of it after a carnival tiger gets loose in the home of Eilers and Armstrong, and eats Armstrong as he
attempts to rescue the baby. A fire then starts, and Eilers saves the child by putting it in the ice box as she runs out of the house. The baby is later found hidden among the vegetables, and it emerges with a chain of hot dogs around its neck, neither suffocated nor felled by smoke-inhalation.
