Frankly, it doesn't sound promising: Minnie Driver (whose looks are, shall we say, a matter of taste) as a would beauty queen so driven that she fobs off her illegitimate daughter (Hallie Kate Eisenberg, the annoying tyke from the Pepsi commercials)
