Michael Gough
British actor Michael Gough, best known for playing Alfred in the Batman film franchise, has died, according to E! Online. He was 94.
Gough was born in Malaysia and made his film debut in the 1948 movie Blanche Fury. He went on to appear in many British television shows, including the long-running series Doctor Who. He married his costar from the series, Anneke Wills, in 1962. They later divorced in 1979.

Val Kilmer
The Internal Revenue Service has placed a lien on Val Kilmer's property as the result of nearly $500,000 he owes in federal taxes, according to The Associated Press.

The lien was filed last month on the Batman Forever star's Santa Fe, N.M. property, which includes the 5,300-acre Pecos River Ranch he is trying to sell for $18.5 million. Kilmer, who has lived in New Mexico for two decades, originally put the ranch on the market for $33 million in 2009.

Question: I was watching some show that listed all of the spin-offs of All in the Family. Wasn't there a show about Archie Bunker's daughter Gloria, post-divorce, as a single mom? That show is never mentioned regarding Norman Lear spin-offs. Or are just the successful shows mentioned?
