Loosely based on a true story, this film tells the story of Kotler who, on the eve of the Six-Day War, tried to fly his small plane to Cairo to plead for peace with Gamal Abdel Nasser. He is forced down over the Sinai, and the outbreak of the war finds him unable to get back to join the Israeli army.
