2000, Movie, R, 88 mins

Radio talk show producer Christian (Dane Anderson) inveigles his star and girlfriend, Julia Collins (Tane McClure), to spice up her swinging singles show. Despite her successful matchmaking, Julia's ratings are on the decline. When it's revealed that a male caller is slaying the one-night stands Julia sets up on-air, her ratings soar, propelling her to the big time, and big-time attention from the LAPD. Their suspects include Christian, who's been secretly using Julia's dating services; her assistant Andy (Brad Bartram), who's carrying a torch for Julia; and, having discovered Christian's infidelity, Julia herself. When Christian's arrested during an assignation arranged by Julia, it's possible that she or Andy framed him. Shannon Tweed clone Tane McClure acts with more aplomb than most R-rated starlets, but she undulates even better; in fact, she's so arresting in her sex scenes that viewers won't care who gets arrested. Too bad, because the screenplay actually boasts a few credible suspects, and all that libidinous writhing eventually becomes monotonous. leave a comment --Robert Pardi
