Loy stars as an American tourist in Egypt, and Novarro is the Egyptian guide trying to woo her in this 1933 retread of Edgar Selwyn's racy (for the 1920s) stage play "The Arab." The guide eventually reveals that he's a prince, and, after many light-hearted desert chases, draggings, and
protestations, Loy finally succumbs to Novarro's charms. Remarkable only for the absolutely beautiful photography of Loy, including a rather risque (for a Depression-era MGM film) nude bathing scene.
