Bar Sinister

This bizarre turn-of-the-century tale features a bull terrier, Wildfire, as a hound who rises from the mean streets of the Bowery to live in luxury with the rich Jagger. Richards finds the pooch and decides to make a buck off him by holding dogfights in the local saloon. Wildfire loves his manager, but when Richards dumps him, the dog finds himself taken in by the kindly Gwenn, a household employee of the wealthy but crusty Jagger. Wildfire works his magic on the dog-hating Jagger and the whole thing has a happy ending.
