Cliche-ridden orphan tale starring Moffett as a ragamuffin whose father dies under the hooves of a spooked horse on their Georgia plantation. The girl and her faithful pooch, Banjo, are sent off to live with her grouchy aunt in Boston. The aunt takes an immediate dislike to the dog and
sends it back to Georgia. Moffitt runs off after her hound the first chance she gets. The aunt, seeing the child's love for the dog, feels guilty and reunites them.
