THE BAMBOO PRISON is the Korean War version of STALAG 17, down to the traitor in the prisoners' midst and the apparent villain unjustly accused of betrayal. While nowhere as good as Billy Wilder's film, there is much of interest here, including many plot twists and a depiction of North Korean brainwashing techniques.
