Back To The Beach

For anyone longing for a film that both satirizes and waxes nostalgic over the beach party films of the 1960s, this is a must-see. It's 25 years and six beach movies later, and clean-cut Annette and the Big Kahuna (Avalon) are a married couple enjoying a secure middle-class life in Ohio. They take a trip to the West Coast and stop to visit an older daughter, whom they are dismayed to find living with an apprentice punk rocker/surfer. Further problems arise as bar owner Connie Stevens makes a play for Frankie.
