The Bachelor's Daughters: Review

Swift-moving Cinderella tale of four department store sales girls who rent a Long Island house and pretend to be rich in order to snare wealthy husbands. Menjou plays the floorwalker of the department store who agrees to pose as the girls' father. Good cast keeps things rolling along. One of the potential husbands is played by pianist List, who does well in the acting role, but is better when playing the piano. Some dull tunes sung by Dvorak flesh out the rest of the movie. leave a comment
