In Clara Law's dreamlike film, a fifteen-year-old Chinese woman, Pui Wai (Pui-Wai Li), meets an older, jaded Japanese videographer, Tokio (Masatoshi Nagase), who's come to China to eat traditional Chinese food and fall in love. She takes him back home, where her Grandmother (Choi Siu Wan) cooks for them, exposing the magic and nurturing qualities of a traditional meal and family.
