Attack!: Review

A cynical and grim account of war, this is one of director Robert Aldrich's best films. In 1944 Belgium, Eddie Albert is a coward who has achieved the rank of captain only because of his father's political power. Because Lee Marvin's political ambitions can be served by Albert's family, he overlooks Albert's imcompetence. But Jack Palance and his platoon feel victimized, and Palance becomes an almost supernatural force of vengeance. Read the complete review for Attack!
