All Ashore: Review

This poor man's version of ON THE TOWN features Mickey Rooney, Dick Haymes, and Ray McDonald as three sailors posing as entertainers on the island of Catalina ("26 miles across the sea") so they can earn some spending money while they are on shore leave. The mediocre music does nothing to help the story, but Rooney manages to get in some nifty clowning. leave a comment
