Taylor stars as a 55-year-old woman whose looks have gone during her lengthy, unhappy marriage to rich lawyer Fonda. In a last-ditch attempt to save her marriage, she flies to Italy to for plastic surgery on her face, breasts, buttocks and hands. After some fairly disturbing and gory scenes of the operations, Taylor emerges looking 20 years younger. While she awaits the arrival of Fonda, a sleazy playboy, Berger, seduces her. She uses the creep for one evening to prove to herself that she is still attractive, and then reveals her new look to her husband. Fonda is impressed with the results, but announces that he has fallen in love with a younger woman and he is seeking a divorce. The couple split amicably, but sadly, each going to begin a new life. Another in the long string of mediocre films by Taylor. Fonda appears only in the last half-hour. leave a comment
