Skin flick enthusiasts get their money's worth in this derivative bit of erotica, which that packs a little more story than the usual soft-core fare. Architect Matt Kane (Stephan Jenkins, of the rock group Third Blind Eye) lands a major design contract and his career takes off. But instead of sharing his good fortune with his wife, Lara (Joyce Hyser), who supplied financial and emotional support during the lean and hungry years, Matt opts to scratch his seven-year itch. He asks for a divorce, and the crestfallen Lara, who wants desperately to have a child, bravely takes the high rode and declares she wants to remain friends. Matt starts sowing his wild oats and falls hook, line, and sinker for Juliet (Nichole Hiltz), who isn't his usual bimbo type. Matt confides in married friend Ben Bloom (David Deluise) that he thinks Juliet is the One, not realizing that beloved is really con woman Tuesday Arcatur, whom Lara met while running a charity foundation. Vengeful Lara has hired Juliet to ensnare Matt and then dump him. Further, Juliet binds and blindfolds Matt during sex then changes places with Lara, who's determined to become pregnant. Lara's payback scheme hits a snag when Juliet decides it might be fun to be the wife of a rich architect, and accepts Matt's marriage proposal. Will professional liar Juliet stick to the plan to stick it to Matt? This sleazy marital advisory should put the fear of God into ungrateful spouses, and overall it's capably acted, though Jenkins isn't especially polished. There's nothing new under the bed sheets, but the film displays enough skin and enough suspense to satisfy its R-rated audience. leave a comment --Robert Pardi
