The penultimate film in the Paramount series that starred John Howard as Bulldog Drummond, ARREST BULLDOG DRUMMOND finds the debonair adventurer-detective once again on the verge of marriage to his seemingly life-long fiancee Phyllis (Angel). But before wedding bells can ring for the couple, Drummond has to look into the murder of a scientist who has created a futuristic atomic detonator that can set off explosives from long distances. Drummond's pursuit of the villains leads to a confrontation on a strange island. Though Howard does a nice turn here, this is only a fair Drummond outing. leave a comment
