Candy is a former police officer who lost his job when he was framed. Levy is a former attorney who has been disbarred for incompetence. Faced with unemployment, both men take jobs as guards for a security company where, after two hours' training, they're put to work by owner McMillan.
Their employer is frightened of Loggia, the union mob boss who seems to have everyone under his control. The movie is flat, often pushy, and has none of the bubbling joy of the SCTV sketches that Candy and Levy illuminated with their presence. Set pieces are tossed in every few minutes in a vain
reach for laughter; but under director Lester's sloppy hand, there is very little to laug...
