Lawrence, a timid girl about to be married to playboy Nares, is discovered to have had a minor indiscretion in the past. Before hypocrite Nares can make any accusations, fair-minded Wakefield, the boy's father, invites the old lover to the wedding. Stiff-upper lip comedy that falters in narrative, is made very watchable by the mesmerizing Lawrence. leave a comment
