Arabella: Review

Rutherford, an aging aristocrat heavily indebted to her country's tax department, receives aid from her devoted granddaughter, Lisi, in obtaining a large sum of money in a very short time. Entertaining European comedy that used Lisi's personal and physical charm to great advantage. In the film's funniest scenes, Lisi tries to seduce the wallets out of a General, a Duke, and a hotel manager, all played by the delightfully hammy Terry-Thomas. leave a comment
